First time foraging in a thunderstorm! 🌬️⛈️⚡️💦 Amazing time with mushrooms galore. Thank you @ms.n.g.u.y.e.n and all the incredible volunteers that make this educational community event possible. You guys are a wonderful group and I’m always talking you up when we’re slinging mushrooms at the markets. @selenabeans @stuffngiggles picked me up along with @hellomissrachel We loaded up the truck and we spent the morning at a local farm @cress_farm_cooperative_ 🌶️🥬🫑🥦🥒🥕🫛🍅🍆🧅🧄 bringing some wonderful sms (spent mushroom substrate) to mix into their compost pile! Then @urbanpepperproject gave us a farm tour while @punk_rock_farmer worked on garden beds. The farm is having a volunteer work day this Sunday at 1pm! Reach out to them and help out the farm. It’s so fulfilling and worthwhile. Many hands make light work!
